Buninyong Botanic Gardens
Welcome to the Buninyong Botanic Gardens, located in the historical township of Buninyong, 13 kilometres south of Ballarat.
The beautiful Buninyong Botanic Gardens were established in 1861, and are listed with Heritage Victoria. They comprise of four hectares of gardens divided into two sections, an upper arboretum nestled around a small lake called the Gong, and the lower gardens containing a diverse collection of cool climate tree species.
You can now explore the gardens plant collections and history in more details both online, and throughout your visit within the gardens.
